Church IT - Supporting ministry with IT

My name is Tim Smith, and by day I am the Senior Staff Writer for Computeractive magazine. I review products and write features on most topics relating to consumer IT. I also write for Personal Computer World and the Ultimate Guide series. I also write for thesheepdip.co.uk, an excellent resource for church magazines and newsletters.

Out of work I am a keen musician playing in my church’s worship group, though I also take spells on the sound desk and running the projector. I can also be found tinkering with the church website. I’m a big fan of OpenSong and OpenOffice, two excellent opensource projects that work really well and cost nothing to download and use.
